Community Service
Once a bank has been purchased by an out-of-state institution, support in the local community usually decreases. That is because institutions based in other communities typically provide a majority of their support in the city where they are headquartered. As a locally owned bank, Paragon strongly supports the Memphis region.
In fact, being actively involved in our community is part of Paragon’s mission.

Assisting the Community Through Service (ACTS)
A majority of Paragon’s support is provided through service of our employees. Through its ACTS (Assisting the Community Through Service) program, Paragon grants 40 hours each year to all bank employees so they may volunteer their services to charitable organizations. Employees use their ACTS time during regular work days to provide help to dozens of local and national volunteer and charitable agencies. Of course, Paragon employees support charitable organizations in the Memphis community during evenings and weekends, too.
