Senior Management Team

Robert S. Shaw, Jr.

Robert Shaw

Robert Shaw is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Paragon National Bank and a member of its Board of Directors. He is a twenty-six year veteran of the financial industry and a recognized leader in banking. He previously served in several executive level positions at another community bank, including President and Chief Operations Officer. Holding a Bachelor and Master of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi, Robert is a certified public accountant and a graduate of the American Bankers' Association National Commercial Lending School. He has served as an honorary co-chair of the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Gala for two years and he annually serves as a celebrity waiter at the Celebrity Chefs Gala benefiting the Memphis Child Advocacy Center. He is active in Woodland Presbyterian Church, having served as an elder and on numerous committees and boards. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Woodland Presbyterian School and Chairman of the Pinecrest Camp and Conference Committee Long-Range Planning Task Force.


Michael S. Erhardt

Michael Erhardt

Michael Erhardt is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Paragon. He has 13 years of banking experience and is responsible for financial reporting, fee-based businesses, liquidity, deposit operations, information systems, property management, and asset liability management. A certified public accountant and graduate of Louisiana State University's Graduate School of Banking, Michael has a Bachelor and Master of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi. He serves on the finance committees of both the St. Patrick Presbyterian Church in Collierville and the Bodine School in Germantown, where he is also a board member.


Andrew H. Taylor

Andy Taylor

Andrew Taylor is the Executive Vice President and Senior Credit Officer at Paragon. He is responsible for the bank's credit administration and overall credit quality. Andy's experience in commercial lending and retail banking for both a large regional financial institution as well as a small community bank dates back to 1992. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and an MBA from the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University. He serves yearly as the coordinator for Paragon's efforts in the Hands on Memphis Servathon.

 

 

Steven C. Mitchener

Steve Mitchener

Steve Mitchener is the Executive Vice President and Senior Lending Officer at Paragon. He directs and controls all production and administrative activities of the bank’s lending functions, including commercial and industrial, commercial real estate, construction, acquisition and development, and private banking. He received his MBA from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. His previous experience includes time in Business Development and Portfolio Management, and he has also served as the Small Business Banking Manager and Asset Based Lending Manager at another bank. He is an active member of the community, serving as a board member and past president of the Germantown Exchange Club and as a board member and treasurer for the Arlington High School Band Boosters.

 

 

Kimberly D. Hall, CTP

Kim Hall

Kim Hall is the Senior Vice President of Treasury Management at Paragon. While managing the treasury department she started at another bank from 1998 to 2004, Kim increased gross cash management income from approximately $6,500 to almost $300,000. She serves on the board and was a past president of the Mid-South Association of Financial Professionals. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. She has been recognized by both Memphis Business Journal's Top 40 Under 40 and Memphis Woman Magazine's 50 Women Who Make a Difference, and she is active in her community, serving such organizations as Make a Wish and Memphis Child Advocacy Center.

 

Wayne Littleton

Wayne Littleton

Wayne Littleton is the Germantown President. He has 24 years of banking experience, which includes experience as a Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager, and is a longtime resident of Germantown. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing from Freed-Hardeman College in Henderson, Tenn. Wayne is also active in his community as a member of the Memphis Civitan Club and Germantown Church of Christ.

 

Carol K. McConkey

Carol McConkey

Carol McConkey is the Senior Vice President and Senior Consumer Banking Officer at Paragon. She is responsible for mortgage lending and retail banking. A 30-year veteran of the financial services industry, Ms. McConkey currently serves on the Tennessee Mortgage Bankers Association's Board of Directors. She also serves on the Board of Directors and Loan Committee for United Housing, Inc., a non-profit housing agency serving the low to moderate income borrowers of the Memphis community. Carol holds a Direct Endorsement certification from the Federal Housing Administration and attended the University of Memphis' Fogelman College of Business and Economics.

 

B. Gordin McMurtry

Gordin McMurtry

Gordin McMurtry is the Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending at Paragon. He has 16 years of banking experience, which includes such leadership as Senior Vice President and Business Banking Sales Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Master of Business Administration (in finance). He is also a member of the Downtown Memphis Rotary Club and sits on the board of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra.

 

Marshall Talley

Marshall Talley

Marshall Talley is the Senior Credit Officer and a Senior Vice President. He is responsible for Paragon’s loan policy and compliance, and he monitors the quality of the loan portfolio. He has over 20 years of experience in banking, including previous experience as a Senior Credit Officer. He received his BBA in Accounting from Memphis State University.

 

Hank Word

Hank Word

Hank Word is the Senior Vice President of Information Technology and Operations. He has attended Sewanee: The University of the South, and earned his Bachelors from The University of Memphis. Before coming to Paragon, Hank was a network administrator position at another community bank. He is active in the community, volunteering often with MIFA.
